Virginia Bertha Kimmel, 82, of Friedens, died Sept. 22, 2012 at Somerset Hospice House. Born April 20, 1930 in Somerset, the daughter of George L. and Eva Grace (Brown) Montgomery. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Milo James Kimmel, who died Nov. 7, 1989, daughter, Cathy Ann Fochtman and sister Twila. Survived by children: Carey Kimmel, married to the former Marcia Foy of Friedens; Jack Kimmel of Somerset; Nancy Landis and husband Kenneth of Berlin; Sally McCrory and husband Victor of Somerset; 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; sisters and brothers: Annabelle Neri of Gray; Ruby Jones of New Jersey; and Robert Montgomery and wife Gwen of Gray. Virginia is a 1948 graduate of Somerset High School. She was a member of Mt. Laurel United Church of Christ. She helped on the family farm, enjoyed putting puzzles together and going to dinner with her sisters. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, Somerset, where services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Dr. Joseph M.
