Raymond G. Valentine, 82, of Davidsville died Oct. 20, 2012 at Select Specialty Hospital, Johnstown. Born Aug. 1, 1930, in Jerome the son of the late Raymond F. and Sadie E. (Ohler) Valentine. Survived by wife of 60 years, the former Isabelle A. Vitko; sisters, Dorothy married to George Lybarger, Soap Hollow and Phyllis Gregory, Johnstown; brother Robert Valentine, Maple Ridge, and numerous nieces, nephews and in-laws. A graduate of Conemaugh Township Area High School. A U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. A retired foreman for Bethlehem Steel Corp., Johnstown, where he worked for 36 years. Ray enjoyed spending time working in his yard. Viewing from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 109 Church Road, Davidsville, where a service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday with Pastor Frank Young presiding. Interment Grandview Mausoleum with military honors by the Menoher Post 155 VFW Ritual Team.
