Jerry R. Pletcher, 68, of Hampton, N.H., formerly of Scullton, passed on Oct. 23, 2012, at home. Born Sept. 24, 1944, in Scullton, he is the son of the late Harold Pletcher and Ethel (Rose) Pletcher of Scullton. Jerry is survived by his mother, son Jerry Pletcher Jr. and wife Vicki of Oakville, Conn.; grandchildren Amber and Ryan Pletcher; sisters Myrna Lane and Debbie King and husband Dalton; brothers Eugene Pletcher and wife Nancy; Craig Pletcher and wife Charlotte, and Gary Pletcher and wife Cindy. Jerry was a combat veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps in Vietnam. He was also a retired construction foreman. A graveside memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday November 10, 2012, at Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery, Scullton, pastor Denton Lester officiating.
