Ernest F. Hause Sr., 72, Meyersdale, died Nov. 16, 2012, at the home of his daughter. Born Sept. 12, 1940, in Hooversville, son of Kenneth and Viola (Kemp) Hause. Preceded in death by parents; wives, Thelma K. Long and Patricia Ann McKenzie; sisters, Lois Leasock and Caroline Hause, and brothers, Leroy and Jeff Hause. Survived by children: Daphne James, Fairhope, Ernest II, Meyersdale, and Jessica Hause, Somerset; grandchildren: Matthew, Becky, Micah, and Chad; seven great-grandchildren; sisters and brothers: Mary (Bernard) Lape, Nancy (Elwood) Clevenger, Alice (Tom) Saunders, Laura Hause, Kenneth Hause, Robert (Nan) Hause, Dave (Jean) Hause, George Hause, Harold (Karen) Hause, and Larry Hause; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was a retired tank painter, and former member of Meyersdale Moose Lodge. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. until service at 8 p.m. Monday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown. The Rev. Larry Weigle officiating.
