Eva G. Hoover, 92, of Warren, Ohio, formerly of Markleton, died Dec. 20, 2012, at Shepherd of the Valley Nursing Home, Howland, Ohio. She was born Sept. 6, 1920, in Upper Turkeyfoot Township, a daughter of Alexander and Mattie Jane (Younkin) Ohler. Her parents, husband, Loyal Ray, sons, Robert R. and David C., sisters, Elsie Kreger, Alice Porterfield, and Mildred Ohler and brothers, Charles and Harold Ohler preceded her in death. She is survived by a daughter, Patricia Foreman and husband, Tim, Confluence, and a son, Allen Hoover and wife, Holly, Warren, Ohio; nine grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, a sister, Sarah Singo and husband, Frank, Markleton and a brother, Elmer Ohler, Rockwood. Eva was a member of the Kingwood Church of God. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Humbert Funeral Home in Confluence and from 10 to 11 a.m. the hour of service Monday in the Kingwood Church of God. Rev. James Monticue and Rev. Paul Tobias officiating. Interment in Old Bethel Cemetery.
