James W. "Killer" Yanosky, 62, of Hooversville, died July 30, 2012 Born Nov. 12, 1949, the son of the late John and Helen (Roch) Yanosky. Survived by his wife, the former Karen Walker; children: Mark; Lynda; James Jr.; Steve; John and Dawn; grandchildren: Tracy; Thomas; Kayla; Zane; Ceara; Shawn; Jared; Alexis; Chloe; Hannah and Ashlynn; brother of: John; Carol; Janet; and Kathie. Also survived by a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and beloved dog, Rooq. A U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War and an avid hunter, fisherman and gardener. Friends will be received from 2 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Mulcahy Funeral Home, Central City. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Unity United Church of Christ, the Rev. Jay Shaffer officiating. Interment Glade Cemetery. Graveside military rites by the Central City American Legion and VFW posts. In lieu of flowers, friends who wish may make donations to the family.
