Rev. Paul P. Weber, 95, passed away Jan. 8, 2013, at the Quarryville Presbyterian Retirement Center, Quarryville. Born Nov. 1, 1917 in Lancaster, the son of Charles Daniel and Katherine Arnold Weber. Preceded in death by parents; first wife, Mary Stouffer Weber; second wife, Ruth Hossler Weber; sister, Loretta Afflebach; brothers, Harold Weber and James Weber; infant daughter, Virginia Weber; daughter, Brenda M. Miller; son, Paul R. Weber; and four grandchildren. Survived by daughter, Nancy V. wife of William Searle, of Nashville, Tenn.; son, Peter R. Weber, husband of Kerry Weber of Somerset; step-sons, Gary L., husband of Gwen M. Hossler; Dennis J., husband of Pamela J. Hossler, all of Holtwood; and step-daughter, Vicki L., wife of Vernon K. Landis, Brownstown; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Paul was ordained on Jan. 1, 1950 and was the former minister of the Church of Christ, now known as the Abbeyville Road Christian Church, Lancaster. He served there from 1951 to Aug., 1958. He then served the First Christian Church of Somerset from Sept., 1958 through Dec., 1979. Paul was a past board member of the Pennsylvania State Sunday School Association. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Rev. Weber's Life Celebration Funeral Service with viewing from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11:30 a.m. Monday at the Abbeyville Road Christian Church, 551 Abbeyville Road, Lancaster, with R. Karl Crouch officiating. Interment at Conestoga Memorial Park.
