Craig R. Alexander, 60, Somerset, passed on Jan. 13, 2013, at Select Specialty Hospital in Johnstown. Born May 25, 1952, in Somerset, he is the son of the late Arnold and Audrey (Dill) Alexander. Craig is survived by his wife of 29 years, Sue (Contrillo) Alexander; stepchildren Robert Tirko and wife Michelle of Clearfield, Utah, Sherry Hartman of Somerset, Brooke Ann Ziegler and husband Brett of Roanoke Rapids, N.C., and Timothy Bonus II of Rockwood; grandchildren Kaitlyn, Krystin, Ashlyn, Joseph, and Allyson; five great-grandchildren; sister Sharon Alexander of Somerset; his dog Abby; and numerous other members of his extended family and circle of friends. Craig was employed by Heckman Water Resources as a truck driver. He loved music and could play a guitar, piano, harmonica and trumpet. He loved people and enjoyed spending time among his friends and family, especially his grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Miller Funeral Home and Crematory, Somerset, where a service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, pastors David Cyphert and Barry Ferguson officiating.
