Vincent H. Holland, 75, of Berlin, passed on Jan. 28, 2013, at Somerset Hospital. Born Sept. 4, 1937, in Statesville, N.C., he is the son of the late William and Margaret (Murdock) Holland. Vincent is survived by his wife of 8 years, Virginia (Zimmerman) Holland; daughters Meg Holland of Marietta, Ga., Ramona Lewis and husband James of Shanksville, Nicole Whitworth and husband Richard of Charles Town, W.Va., and Kathy Holland of Martinsburg, W.Va.; step-children Linda Kovacs and husband George of Berlin, Denise Murphy and husband Bobby of Mount Pleasant, Edward Zimmerman and wife Jamie of Latrobe, and Kim Johnson and husband Kirk of Garland, Texas; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother Eric Holland and wife Dee of Steward, Fla.; and sisters Carrie Bolen and husband Ken of Spring Hill, Fla., and Agatha Tweekun of Tucson, Ariz. Vincent was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force in the Korean War. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Somerset. He was a member of the Robert White Lodge No. 67 of the Free & Accepted Masons and the DeMolay chapter in Martinsburg. Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Miller Funeral Home and Crematory, Somerset, with a service to follow at 8 p.m., pastor Ed Hammond officiating.
