Beverly Rae Bryan, 85, Northfield, Ohio, died on Feb. 4, 2013. She was born March 15, 1927, in Meyersdale, to Harry and Margaret (nee Lee) Bryan. Upon graduating from high school, she moved to Cleveland where she worked for the General Electric Co., retiring from the Lamp Division in Ravenna, Ohio, after 40 years of service. Her interests included home design, interior decorating and skiing. She was a longtime member of the Cleveland Ski Club. She was always very supportive of her family and will be greatly missed by her three nieces and their families. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Joyce L. Bretz; a nephew, William B. Bretz; and her special companions, her dogs Jacque and Nicky. Beverly is survived by her brother-in-law, Martin F. Bretz, Lemoyne; nieces: Beverly Yaiko (George), Clymer, N.Y., Marta Foltz (Harold), Carlisle, and Carrie Clarke (Greg), Dillsburg; nine great-nieces and nephews; six great-great-nieces and nephews and several cousins. Private family burial services will take place at Union Cemetery in Meyersdale. Memorial contributions are suggested in her name to Fire District 27 Firefighters Association, 60 West Aurora Road, Northfield, OH 44067 or a charity of choice.
