Bernice A. "Mooch" Brick, 90, Berlin, died Feb. 9, 2013, at Meadow View Nursing Center. Born March 18, 1922, in Fairhope, a daughter of Samuel and Susan (Carter) Hutzell. Preceded in death by parents, husband Robert, sisters Evelyn Witt and Gladys Coslic, and brother Lloyd Hutzell. Survived by her son Donald and wife June; grandsons: Clyde and wife Ruth; and James and wife Susan; great-grandchildren: Sara and Donnie; numerous nieces and nephews; and special caregiver Alice Gary. She was a retired nurse’s aide from the Somerset State Hospital. Member of Glencoe United Church of Christ, the Pennsylvania Association of Retired State Employees, and was a very active member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post 7295, Berlin. She was a founder of the Kremmerer Cemetery Restoration Group and enjoyed gardening, taking bus trips, working with animals, cooking and was famous for her pies. Family will receive friends from 1 to 3 and 5 p.m. until time of service at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin, Rev. Ralph G. Landis officiating. Interment Mt.
