Mabel P. (Johnson) Schrock, 92, Berlin, died Feb. 10, 2013, at home. Born April 27, 1920, in Garrett, daughter of Adam D. and Alice (Albright) Johnson. Preceded in death by parents; husband Richard; brothers and sisters Lester, Thelma (Martz), Luella (Decker), Earl, Pauline, and William. Survived by her daughter Donna (Schrock) Schrock and husband Roger; grandchildren: Suzette Chonko and husband Ted; Teresa Morey, and Bryan Schrock and wife Joy; great-grandchildren: Shawn Chonko and wife Alina, Amber (Chonko) Welch and husband Tim, Cassandra (Chonko) Knecht and husband Brandon, Mackenzie Morey, Jessica Morey, and Marisa Schrock; great-great-grandchildren: Hailey Chonko, Corgan Welch, Hudson Welch, and Aeralyn Knecht; and nieces, nephews, and other relatives, caregivers and her dear friends. Mabel loved her sisters and brothers, her grandchildren and other family and friends. She loved plants. She knew the names of all kinds of herbs, vegetables, flowers and other plants and she knew how to make them grow. She liked to sew and make rugs. She is loved and missed by her family and friends. Family will receive friends from noon Sunday until time of service at 2 p.m. at Holy Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Berlin, Rev. Dr. John W. Harmon officiating.
