David Edward Sutton Sr., 62, of Stoystown, died Feb. 22, 2013 in Stoystown. Born March 29, 1950 in Salisbury, he is the son of Claude Shumaker and Augusta Lauradeen (Walker) Sutton. Preceded in death by parents; granddaughter Ashleigh and brother Robert Sutton. Survived by wife, the former Delia Elena Causadias, to whom he was married 18 years; children: David E. Sutton Jr., married to the former Diana Thurber; Christopher J. Sutton Sr., married to the former Christine Franks, all of Cape Coral, Fla.; Jason M. Sutton, married to the former Kelly Willkow of Somerset; Peter Pruitt of Washington, D.C.; Erin M. Sutton of Stoystown; grandchildren: David, Tyler, Cameron, Luke, Brooke, C.J., Jordan, Michael, Nicole, Courtney, Morgan, Cheyenne and Autumn; and great-granddaughter Kaleigh; sisters, Nancy Mitchell and husband William, and Rita Hay and husband Nevin, all of Rockwood; sister-in-law Mary Sutton of Aurora, Colo.; and former wife, Esther (Pifer) Smith. David is a U.S. Coast Guard veteran of Desert Storm. He is retired as a police officer for the Miami Dade Police Department. He was a member of American Legion Post 181, Roof Garden Chorus and the NRA. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, Somerset, where services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday with the Rev. Keith M.
