Thelma J. Stanton, 82, of Hollsopple, died March 2, 2013 at home. Born June 13, 1930 in Cumberland, Md., daughter of James and Grace (Walker) Foy. Preceded in death by parents; husband John Bowser; son James Leasure; and two sisters and a brother. Survived by her husband, Roger Dale Stanton; children: Cletus Leasure and wife Rebecca, Jennerstown; Dennis Leasure and wife Betty, Berlin; Leah Hays, Ligonier; Deborah Shaffer and friend Ned Lambert, Stoystown; and John Bowser Jr. and wife Mary, Berlin; stepchildren: Waide Stanton and wife Wendy, Berlin; Dawne, married to Tom Voytas, Westmont; Linda Stanton, Hollsopple; and Colton Stanton, Hollsopple; 34 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren; and sisters, Nancy Critchfield and Shirley Carney. Former cook for 22 years at Mostoller's Country Coral. Attended Hopewell United Methodist Church.
