Paul B. Ream, 83, Friedens, passed on March 11, 2013, at the In Touch Hospice House. Born Nov. 11, 1929, in Somerset, he is the son of the late Matthew and Dorcas (Bender) Ream. He is also preceded in death by his grandson Christopher Ream. Paul is survived by his wife of 60 years, Alice (Woodward) Ream; son Donald Ream and wife Pamela of Somerset; daughter Sue Schimpf and husband Jerry of Somerset; grandchildren Claire Ream of Lancaster, Timothy Rice Jr. of Somerset, Colin Rice of Somerset, and Jonathan Rice and wife Bethann of Lambertsville; great-grandson Jacob Rice; and brother-in-law William Woodward of Somerset. Paul was a veteran of the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He then went to work for his father in the plumbing and heating business and eventually retired from the Exxon Corp. He was a member of Friedens Lutheran Church. He was an avid motorcyclist and enjoyed car rides. There will be no viewing or visitation at Paul’s request. Interment at Lambertsville Cemetery.
