William "Bill" Zoldey, 75, of Wilbur (Stoystown), went to be with the Lord March 13, 2013 at home. Born May 8, 1937 in Windber, son of Joseph and Mary (Ferko) Zoldey. Preceded in death by parents, wife the former Ruth Ann Clark, brothers: Joseph, Steve and Michael “Jay”, and sisters: Mary, Elizabeth and Irene. Survived by children: William Jr. married to the former Sandi Anderson, Champlin, Minn., Annamarie married to Greg Ashbrook, Wilbur, and Cindy married to Angelo Rolt, Mount Airy, Md.; grandchildren: William III and wife Cheryl, and Tamara Zoldey and Greg Jr. and Olivia Ashbrook; great grandchildren: Gage and Riya, and sister: Helen Cook, Churchville, Va. Bill was employed for over three decades as a steelworker with Bethlehem Steel. He worked at the Gautier division until “the end,” and also worked at J. Pitt Steel for several years before retiring. Member of Quemahoning Rod and Gun Club. Bill loved gardening and hunting. “Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: For I was hungry, and you gave me meat: I was thirsty and you gave me drink: I was a stranger and ye took me in: Naked and you clothed me: I was sick and you visited me: I was in prison and you came unto me.” Matthew 25: 34-36. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Deaner Funeral Home, Hooversville. Viewing from 1 p.m. until service at 2 p.m. Sunday at Otterbein United Methodist Church, Wilbur.
