Mary M. Swartzentruber, 81, of Springs

Mary M. Swartzentruber, 81, of Springs, died Friday, March 15, 2013, at Goodwill Mennonite Home, Grantsville, Md. Born Feb. 16, 1932, in Norfolk, Va., she is the daughter of the late Jacob B. and Fannie (Kinsinger) Swartzentruber. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Nancy J. Swartzentruber and Sarah J. Tice. Miss Swartzentruber worked 11 years at Yoder's Dairy Bar, eight years at the Springs Store and 21 1/2 years with the Yoder Country Market. She was a member of Springs Mennonite Church. She is survived by a brother, Crist Swartzentruber, Grantsville; 10 nieces and nephews and a number of great-nieces and great-nephews. Friends will be received from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 179 Miller St., Grantsville. Services will be conducted in the Springs Mennonite Church at 2 p.m. on Sunday, with Rev. Eric Haglund officiating. Friends may call at the church one hour prior to the services.
