Edgar E. Meyers, 82, Meyersdale, died March 30, 2013. Born in Sand Patch on March 4, 1931, to the late Edgar B. and Bertha (Baughman) Meyers. Preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lois (Hutzell) Meyers; stepmother Martha (Keefer) Meyers; brothers: Melvin (Tom), Carl, James and Marvin Meyers; stepbrothers: Floyd, Robert and Bernie Keefer. Survived by his two sons, William (Joyce) Meyers, Berlin, and Keith Meyers, Meyersdale; grandsons, Ethan and Jared Meyers; sister Leoda, wife of George Baughman, Landisburg; and many nieces and nephews. Edgar loved hunting and fishing and sitting on his porch with his dog, Blackie. Friends will be received from 11 to 2 p.m. Monday at M. Ray Leckemby Funeral Home, Meyersdale. Service will be at 2 p.m., following the viewing. Interment Meyersdale Area Union Cemetery. Arrangements by the M. Ray Leckemby Funeral Home.
