Marlene J. Di Marco (Sipe), 79, Monroeville, formerly of Johnstown, died April 17, 2013, at Golden Living Center in Monroeville. Born July 30, 1933, in Johnstown. Daughter of the late Cecil Sr. and Rose E. (Cugini) Sipe. Survived by brother Cecil G. Jr. married to Nancy of Monroeville, nephew Wesley Sipe married to Denise of Moon Township, nieces Amy Poppa married to Tom of Irwin and Wendy Plank married to Tom of Cannonsburg, great nephews Garrett and Martin Sipe and nieces Olivia and Sarah Plank. She was a former instructor at the YWCA. Marlene received her engineering degree from Penn State. Retired with over 30 years of teaching from Johnstown School District. Friends will be received from noon until time of funeral service at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday at John Henderson Co. Funeral Home, 215 Central Ave., Johnstown. Rev. Wes Yoder, interment Richland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Association in her name.
