Dorothy Jane Sredy, 75, of Somerset, died April 20, 2013 at her home. Born May 27, 1937 in Somerset County, the daughter of Charles R. and Sarah K. (Shockey) Vought. Preceded in death by parents, brother Dalton Vought and sister Mary Walker. Survived by husband, Ralph Sredy, to whom she was married 52 years; sons, Stephen M. Sredy Sr. of Berlin and Ralph M. Sredy, married to the former Lisa Platt of Somerset; grandchildren: Stephen Sredy Jr.; Olivia McVicker; Sara Beth Sredy; Hanna Mae Sredy; brother, Charles Vought Jr. of New York. Dorothy is a graduate of Rockwood High School. She was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church and Order of Eastern Star Chapter 138. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, Somerset, and one hour prior to the service at the church, which will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Messiah Lutheran Church, Rockwood.
