Julius F. "Pickle" Deal, 72, Salisbury, died Monday, May 6, 2013, at his home after a lengthy illness. Pickle was the son of the late Frank and Edna (Bittinger) Deal and he was also preceded in death by a brother, Norman Deal. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Nancy; son, Bryon Deal and partner, Scott Bradfield, of Fort Ashby, W.Va.; a daughter, Kimberly Myers and husband, Scott, of Salisbury; grandsons, Ryan Deal and wife, Elanea, of Finleyville; Shayne George and wife, Misti, of Somerset; Scotty Myers and Cory Myers, of Ebensburg; a sister-in-law, Martha Deal and three little bright stars, his great-grandchildren, Mercy Deal, Oliviah George and Kolton George. Friends will be received at Newman Funeral Home, Inc., 9168 Mason-Dixon Highway, Salisbury on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be conducted in the funeral home on Thursday, May 9, 2013, at 11 a.m. with Pastor Ryan Deal officiating.
