Margaret Jean Alumbaugh, 92, of Somerset, died May 31, 2013 at The Patriot, Somerset. Born Nov. 27, 1920 in Baltic, Ohio, the daughter of Weldon Hitchcock and Minnie Viola (Haus) Fair. Preceded in death by parents, husband Edward Alumbaugh, daughter Susan F. Alumbaugh and sister Betty Jacobs. Survived by sons: David E. Alumbaugh, married to the former Suzanne Reed of Friedens; Stan Lee Alumbaugh, married to the former Sandra Evans of Cumberland, Md., and their families. Margaret is a 1938 graduate of Baltic High School. She was also a member of Friedens Lutheran Church. There will be no viewing or visitation. A private service will be conducted at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, Somerset, with the Rev. Edward DeVore officiating. Interment Somerset County Memorial Park.
