Kathryn M. Gumbert, 82, Berlin, died May 31, 2013 at Somerset In-Touch Hospice. Born July 14, 1930 in Berlin, a daughter of Edward and Ada (Coleman) Wyand. Preceded in death by parents; husband of 33 years, Homer C.; sisters Dorothy Diest and Margaret Engle; two infant brothers; and brothers-in-law, George Wisler and Charlie Diest. Survived by her children: Barbara Raupach and husband Skip, Grafton, W.Va.; Jack, married to the former Charlotte Glessner, Berlin; grandchildren: Marc (Laura) Raupach, Missey (Troy) Kimbrew, Jackie (Tom) Spencer, Jack Gumbert II and fiancée Daleana Kiser, Joel Gumbert, Carly (Luke) Twarek, and Corey Gumbert; great-grandchildren: Zak and Kolbe Kimbrew, Ali and Tanner Raupach, Sydnie, Kolton, Slayton and Gracesyn Spencer, and Joseph and Claire Twarek; sister: Mary Ann Wisler, Berlin; brother-in-law: Ray Engle, Berlin; special nephew John Wisler; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was a 1949 graduate of Berlin Brothersvalley High School and was employed by Snyder of Berlin for 54 years. Member of Trinity United Church of Christ, Berlin. She enjoyed doing crafts, sewing, and shopping. Family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin where service will be held on Monday at 2 p.m., Rev.
