Stella S. DiLoreto, 86, Windber went home to be with her Lord on June 1, 2013, at Church of the Brethren Home. Born May 26, 1927, in Windber. Daughter of late Frank and Julia (Cyburt) Szach (Shark). Also preceded in death by husband Nick W. and siblings Joseph, Walter, Stanley, Mary Guistina, Catherine Wisniewski and Irene Glosky. Survived by sons Larry, Pittsburgh; Art, married to the former Debbie Christner, Somerset; and daughter Joan Shark, wife of Mark Turner III, Lovettsville, Va. Grandmother to Rocco and Matthew DiLoreto, Stephanie (DiLoreto), wife of Shawn Lucas, and Eric DiLoreto and fiancee Heather Rex, and Nikki, wife of Mark Turner IV and great-grandchildren Cole Lucas and Lexi DiLoreto. Sister-in-law of Eva Wilt, Monroeville, and survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins. Last member of her immediate family. Graduate of Richland High School. Former member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church where she was in the choir and ktichen crew. Current member St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Windber. She was active in supporting the Windber VFW bingo and the VFW ladies auxiliary. Stella was extremely dedicated to her family and her faith and was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt. She will be missed by all who knew her. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Meek and Dalla Valle Funeral Home Inc., Windber, where vigil for the deceased will be held. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Windber. Fr. Adrian, TOR and Very Rev. Leonard E. Voytek, VF, celebrants. Committal church cemetery.
