Arden Leroy Crise, 72, Somerset, died June 4, 2013, at his residence. Born July 30, 1940 in Somerset, the son of Ernest Richard Crise and Margaret Elizabeth Keim. Preceded in death by parents, and step mother Esther Heard and step father Carl “Pete” Lohr. Survived by wife the former Janice Maria Suder to whom he was married 34 years. Sisters and brothers: Nancy L. Barkley of Somerset, Richard W. Crise of Palm Bay, Florida, Jack L. Crise and wife Eileen of Somerset, Margaret A. “Peggy” Shaulis and husband Jay of Stoystown and his beloved dog Poodie. Art is a 1958 graduate of Somerset High School, he is a disabled U.S. Army Veteran of Vietnam where he served as Staff Sgt. with 9 years of active duty. He worked until his retirement in 2002 with 35 years of service as Assistant Manager for Somerset Candy Company. He was also a member of the Disabled American Veterans Association. Friends received 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, Somerset, where services will be conducted 10 a.m. Friday, June 7, 2013, with the Rev. Sherman H.
