Sheridan A. "Hank" Logue, 87, of Meyersdale, passed away July 10, 2013, at In Touch Hospice House, Somerset. Born Aug. 21, 1925, in Coal Run, the son of Robert G. and Delma (Gray) Logue. Preceded in death by his parents and brother Joseph. Survived by his wife of 69 years, the former Veda Caton; sons: Robert Logue and wife Marie and Daniel Logue and wife Patsy; grandchildren: Tammy (Bill), Tracy (Jim), Tonya (Dave), Scott (Jennifer) and Yolonda (Mike); great-grandchildren: Cory, Brittany, Brianna, Austin, Taylor, Drew, Parker, Jordan, Mallory, Jason, Eric and John; and great-great-granddaughter, Kaylie. Also survived by sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews. He was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Navy serving on LST 61 at the Invasion of Normandy. Hank was a member of the Pentecostal Apostolic Church, Meyersdale, and attended Hostetler Church of the Brethren. Also a member of Carpenters Union 1024, Cumberland, Md., Meyersdale American Legion and Meyersdale VFW. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale, where service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, with Rev. Gary Green and Rev. Joe Brown officiating. Interment Greenville Union Cemetery. Graveside military rites by Somerset County Honor Guard.
