Betty E. Dunmeyer, 90, formerly of Murdock Bando Road, died Oct. 13, 2012 at Meadow View Nursing Center. Born Jan. 16, 1922, in Black Township, she is the daughter of the late August and Emma (Pyle) Brown. Also preceded in death by her husband, Nevin R. Dunmeyer; son, Bernard; and brother, Ben Brown. Survived by children, Floyd L. Dunmeyer and wife Jean of Somerset; and Mrs. Richard (Shirley) Clay of New Centerville; grandchildren, Gail Lucas and husband Brian and Neil Clay and wife Wendy; great-grandchildren, Mia and Ashlyn Clay; sister-in-law, Helen Brown of Somerset and numerous nieces and nephews. Life member of the Milford United Methodist Church and retired from the Somerset State Hospital as an aide with 23 years of service. Betty was a graduate of Somerset High School. Friends received from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home where services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Marlin Miller officiating.
