Dorothy M. (Everett) Glessner, 83, Boswell, died Oct. 20, 2012, at Somerset Hospital. Born Feb. 19, 1929, in Salisbury, daughter of Floyd W. and Elsie Mae (Miller) Everett. Preceded in death parents; husband of 62 years, Theodore "Bud" Jr., May 29, 2010; sisters, Betty Everett and Jeanne Flory; and brothers, Glenn and Clyde. Survived by daughters: Linda L., married to David Countryman, Berlin; Lana J., married to Rick Gaston, Moultrie, Ga.; Lois J., married to Bill Myers Jr., Berryville, Va.; and Cindy L., married to Rick Miranda, Somerset; grandchildren: Michael Countryman, and wife, Carol; Michele and Mindi Countryman; Eric Gaston, and wife, Karen; Matthew Gaston, and wife, Nicole; Kelli, (Gaston) Meyer, and husband, Woody; Rebecca (Myers) Lewis, and husband, Raymond; Todd Reffner, and wife, Juana; Neil Reffner; and Ashley Miranda; 11 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; sister, Emily Landis-Weaver, Boswell; and sisters-in-law, Dorothy Glessner, Jenner Township, and Lorraine Glessner, Jennerstown. Graduate of Conemaugh Township Area High School. Member of St. Andrew Evangelical Lutheran Church, Boswell, and the Altar Guild and Knotty Ladies of the church. Past president of WELCA and former member of 7th Society of Farm Women. Board member of Boswell Food Pantry and a founding member of Boswell Historical Society. Viewing from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 409 Main St., Boswell.
