Dorothy Jean Barclay, 64, Somerset, passed on Nov. 17, 2102. Born Aug. 11, 1948, in Somerset, she is the daughter of the late George and Goldie (Beck) Barclay. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Norwood Eugene Sheeler in 1979. Dorothy is survived by her son, Benjamin Sheeler, Somerset; stepdaughter Brenda Bolden and husband Ed, Meyersdale; sisters: Ruth Ogline-Glessner and husband Robert, Jennerstown, Joan Fritz, Friedens, and Nancy Ross-Bittlebrun and husband Ron, Boswell; brothers, George Barclay and wife Hazel, Somerset, and Harold Barclay and wife Carmen, Denham Springs, La.; and numerous nieces and nephews. Dorothy was a member of the Sipesville fire department and the Mt. Tabor Lutheran Church in Garrett. She was a retired employee of the Abilene Boot Co. in Somerset. Friends will be received from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday with a service to follow at 7 p.m. at the Miller Funeral Home and Crematory, Somerset . Pastor Shawn Ostrander officiating.
