Harold "Junior" Rugg, 72, of Confluence, died Nov. 20, 2012 in Somerset Hospital. He was born Sept. 25, 1940 in Lower Turkeyfoot Township, a son of Harvey B. and Viola (Bowers) Rugg. His parents and sisters, Helen Harbaugh and Geraldine Shawley preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife of fifty years, Lois (Oester) Rugg; sons, Keith and his wife, Cindy, Confluence, and Michael and his companion, Cindy Luce, Connellsville; grandchildren: Brittney Hall and her husband B.J., Amy Tressler and Dustin Rugg; great-grandchildren Brayden and Chase Hall and Ryamae and Mason Tressler; sister, Phyllis Harbaugh and her husband, Ray, Mill Run; and brother, Carl "Chub" Rugg and his wife, Margie, Chambersburg. Harold was an associate member of the Meyersdale Vol. Fire Dept. There will be no viewing or visitation. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
