Patricia L. Saylor, 67, Scullton, Somerset County, passed away Sunday, Nov. 25, 2012, at her home, after a long battle with cancer. Pat was born June 28, 1945, in Chelsea, Mass. She spent most of her adult life in Sheffield Lake, Ohio, before retiring to Pennsylvania. Her favorite pastimes include participating in church activities, attending live theater productions, and taking bus trips. She enjoyed her 20 plus years of work within the school districts of Sheffield Lake and Rockwood. Pat is survived by her husband of 42 years John, and her daughters Melinda, Melissa, Melanie (Robert), and Mary. Friends and family will be received Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Brooks Funeral Home Inc., 111 E. Green St. Connellsville, where a funeral service will be held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m., with Rev. Robert Bixel officiating. A committal service and interment will follow in the Normalville Cemetery.
