Homer C. Renner Jr., 63, of Central City, died Nov. 29, 2012. Born Sept. 5, 1949, the son of Homer C. and Pauline J. (Spangler) Renner. Preceded in death by parents, grandparents, step-father Lloyd Hampe, sister Arlene and mother-in-law Miriam Moore. Survived by wife, the former Karen Moore; son Charles and wife Kristine, Central City; daughter Keri-Ann; grandchildren: David and Durwin Miller, Kyle Snowden, Chase and Kaden Renner and his princess, Madison. Brother of Joseph, Ariz., Marlene and Virginia, Waynesburg, Phylis, Debbie and Randy, Ohio. Also survived by father-in-law Walter Moore; special friends Dave and Virginia Hampe, three sisters-in-law and a brother-in-law. A U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War and former employee of Thiel's and JLG Industries. He was a member of the American Legion and the Johnstown Street Survivors car club. He loved his '55 Ford F-150. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Boswell Church of God, Pastor Dave McGinnis officiating. Private committal.
