Wayne Jay Beeghly, 71, of Somerset, died Jan. 4, 2013 at UPMC Presbyterian, Pittsburgh. Born May 17, 1941 in Somerset, the son of Owen Milton and Emma Leora (Mostoller) Beeghly. Preceded in death by parents; brother Leo M. Beeghly and an infant sister, Loy Marie. Survived by children: Paula Beeghly Fike and husband Eugene III of Amesbury, Mass.; Eric Beeghly and wife Cherry of San Bruno, Calif.; grandchildren: Kate, Emily, Elizabeth and Jacob; sisters: June Sayers and husband Leroy of Smyrna, Del.; Fay Bentz and husband Robert, Dayton, Va. Wayne is a 1959 graduate of Somerset High School and a graduate of Juniata College. He was self employed and had various properties and rentals in Somerset. He was also a member of Somerset Church of the Brethren. Friends received from 9 to 11 a.m. Monday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, Somerset, where a service will immediately follow at 11 a.m. with Pastor Paul Liepelt officiating.
