Mildred E. King, 74, of Rockwood, died Jan. 9, 2013, at In Touch Hospice’s House of Journey’s Rest, Somerset. She was born February 17, 1938 in Upper Turkeyfoot Township, a daughter of Ralph F. and Ruth M. (King) Trimpey. Her parents, husband Charles Vann King, sister, Carol and brothers, Ralph Jr. and James preceded her in death. She is survived by sons, Harold King, Rockwood and Charles Vann King II and wife Valerie, also of Rockwood; daughters, Pamela Weimer and husband, Gary, Markleton, Marla Kreinbrook and husband, Stuart, Somerset, Ruth Temple and husband, Mark, Rockwood, Becky Brougher and husband, Scott, Markleton, Joy Svonavec and husband, Patrick, Rockwood, and Sandra Stevanus and husband, Mark, Rockwood; 19 grandchildren, Steven King and wife, Joanna, Joshua King and wife, Margeaux, Lezlee MacDonald and husband, Chad, Kara Reed and husband, Brandon, Eleas Weimer, Michael Shultz and wife Catrina, Andrea Shultz and fiance, Chris, Danyelle Shultz, Kyle Temple, Leanne Temple, Caleb Brougher, Noah Brougher, Hannah Svonavec, Logan Svonavec, Hailey King and fiance, Andrew, Allison King, Charles V. King III, Morgan Stevanus and Maxx Stevanus; five great-grandchildren, Rayne and Brayden Shultz, Levi King, and Addelin and Bauer Reed; sisters, Lois Baker and husband, Donald, Markleton, Judy Gober and husband, George, Oakland, Md. and brothers, Richard Trimpey, Markleton and Daniel Trimpey, Accident, Md. Mildred was a member of the Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church. Friends will be received from 2 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the Humbert Funeral Home in Confluence. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church with Rev. Denton Lester and Rev. James Monticue officiating. There will be no viewing in the church. Interment will follow in Old Bethel Cemetery.
