Spencer Dean Younkin, 45, of Garrett, passed away Saturday, June 9, 2012 at home. He is the son of Donald R. and the late Judy Ann (Hoover) Younkin. He was born Aug. 3, 1966 at Meyersdale Hospital. He was a 1984 graduate of Meyersdale Area High School and a member of Garrett United Methodist Church. In addition to his father, he is survived by one brother and sister-in-law, Stuart and Janet Younkin of Shepherdstown, W.Va. Spencer was an organ donor who in death was able to help others live. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Under the direction of the M. Ray Leckemby Funeral Home.
