Douglas Allen Harnden, 43, of Somerset, died Aug. 15, 2012 at Somerset Hospital, Somerset. Born Dec. 18, 1968 in Wichita, Kan., the son of Dennis D. and Susan J. (Marshall) Harnden. Survived by wife the former Jennifer Tia R. Branch to whom he was married 12 years, parents of Somerset, sons: Cole Allen Harnden and Michael Alexander Branch. Sisters: Amy Jenkins and husband Kurtis of Chambersburg and Elizabeth A. Harnden of Zelienople. Doug is a 1987 graduate of Somerset High School and a 1993 graduate of Edinboro University. He worked as a Sales Estimator for Highland Tank. He was a member of FOE Aerie 1801, Longshot Hunting Camp, President of the Somerset Little Eagle Football, he was on the board and was a commissioner for the Somerset Area Little League Baseball. He was also a football coach, baseball manager and enjoyed golfing. Friends received 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, Somerset, where services will be conducted 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 18, 2012 with the Rev. Eric Raygor officiating.
