Nancy E. Hollada, 74, Fort Hill, passed away suddenly on Friday, March 15, 2013. Born Nov. 26, 1938, in Johnstown, the daughter of the late John W. and Ethel (Wasmuth) Young. She was raised in Meyersdale and resided in Newton Falls, Ohio, for more than 30 years with her husband Bob. Survived by her husband, of 55 years, Robert “Bob” Hollada; daughter Susan and husband Dale Radtka Jr., Louisville, Ohio, and son Robert “Rob” Hollada, Southington, Ohio. Also survived by brother William “Bill” Young, Canton, Ohio; sister Carol and husband Donald Menhorn, Monteville, Ohio. She is a 1956 graduate of Meyersdale Area High School. Nancy enjoyed volunteer work, beginning as a room mother and Girl Scout leader, and then with the Salisbury Fire Department Auxiliary. She also enjoyed flowers and doing arts and crafts, including crocheting, panting, and making rugs. She always had a project that she was working on. Nancy was an avid sports fan, and especially loved cheering on the Nittany Lions. Among other things, she loved spending time with her family, traveling, taking vacations to the beach and playing bingo. Her favorite and final meal was a bowl of ice cream. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale, where service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday. Pastor Daniel Whitacre officiating.
