Nellie Mae Matieszyn, 81, Berlin, was called Home to Heaven to be with her Savior March 21, 2013. Born May 11, 1931 in Meyersdale, a daughter of Robert and Mary Alberta (Beeman) Bowman. Preceded in death by parents; sister Ruth Drabish; brother Leroy Bowman; and great-granddaughter Angelina Brown. Survived by her husband of 59 years, Michael; children: Rose Stottlemyer and husband Mike, W.Va.; Michael Jr. married to the former Karen Peck, Somerset; Dale married to the former Vicki Tokar, Rebecca and Donna Matieszyn, all of Berlin; and David and fiancée Donna Delecki, W.Va.; grandchildren: Michael (Amanda) Stottlemyer Jr., Benjamin (Chelsea) Stottlemyer, Jennifer (Joe) Jenkins, Christal and Dale "Eddie" Matieszyn, Kayla (Joe) Brown, Matthew, Laura, Jonathan, and Logan Matieszyn; step-grandchildren: Brandi Foy, Addison and Jeff Foy Jr., Berlin; great-grandchildren: Michael III, Isaiah, and Anna Stottlemyer, and Aryanna Brown; step-great-granddaughter Madison King; sister Rose Ohler, Meyersdale; long-time friend LeAnn Phennicie, and numerous nieces and nephews. Nellie "Grandma" was loved deeply by her family and all who had the honor of knowing her. She served the Lord faithfully as a prayer warrior, as well as singing with her family "The Matieszyn Family" over 50 years. We have comforting knowledge to know we will soon see you again, mom, and absent from the body, you are present with the Lord. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin, where service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Rev.
