Jack Clifford Wagner, age 72, of Central City, died July 5, 2012. Jack was born and raised in Cairnbrook, the son of Ray and Betty (Marsh) Wagner. He is survived by his daughters: Tina Smith; Joann (Rocky) Early; Cathy (Harry) Paul; Christine Wagner; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sister, Alice (Tom) Deffibaugh; brother Alan (Greer) Wagner; his former wife, Mary Wagner; and his special friend Lyn. Jack joined the Air Force after high school and after leaving the Air Force, worked as a mechanic until he retired. He was widely known for his skills and ability to fix anything mechanical. He was a member of the Civil Air Patrol for many years. He enjoyed flying ultralights and other small aircraft, as well as repairing vintage aircraft. Cremation has taken place. Interment will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 1 at McGregor Cemetery. Friends and family are invited to share in a celebration of his life with a memorial service at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 1 at Graef's Church, McGregor Ave., Cairnbrook.
