Shirley P. Bockes, 73, Meyersdale, died April 27, 2013, at Golden Living Center. Born Aug. 29, 1939, in Meyersdale, daughter of the late Homer and Fannie (Kritzburg) Briskey. Preceded in death by first husband, Ralph Lyons; these children, Terry Lyons and Joey Bockes; sister Dorothy Briskey; and brother Robert Briskey. Survived by husband Roger Bockes; these children: Doris Jean, wife of Robert Harclerode, Ronald Lyons, David Lyons, Susie, wife of Steve Ross, Rick Lyons and wife Margie, Roger Bockes Jr.; grandchildren: Bobby, Kristen, Jenna Harclerode, Thomas Williams, Joshua, T.J., Mark and Brittany Lyons; brothers, Homer Briskey Jr. and wife Joyce, and Ronald Briskey; sisters: Beverly Kabina and husband Steve, Doris Shroyer and husband Leroy, Marjorie Briskey and daughter Lisa Briskey Wright. Friends will be received from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday at M. Ray Leckemby Funeral Home, Meyersdale, where funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. with Pastor David Marsh officiating.
