Delmas W. "Pete" McClintock, 61, of Milford Township closed the final chapter of his life story on April 28, 2013 at the In Touch Hospice House. He was born Sept. 4, 1951 in Milford Township, the son of Freda (Miller) McClintock and the late J. Lloyd McClintock. He is preceded in death by his father; wife Deborah (McClintock); mother-in-law Nina (Anderson) McClintock; maternal grandparents Austin and Alice (King) Miller; paternal grandparents John and Mildred (Sarver) McClintock; and an infant sister. Pete is survived by his mother; sons, Derrick McClintock and Drew McClintock and fiance Jessica Ritcher; grandsons, Matthew and Conner, all of Rockwood; brothers, John T. McClintock of Somerset; Jay G. and Curtis J. McClintock; sister Linda K. Loring; and father-in-law, Paul J. McClintock, all of Rockwood; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Pete was a 1971 graduate of Rockwood Area High School. He was a partner in the former McClintock Coal Co. He was a retired correctional officer at the Somerset County Jail. He was a member of the Laurel Hill Lions Club and the Somerset F.O.E. Aerie #1801. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Miller Funeral Home and Crematory, Somerset, where a service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Pastor Tim Show officiating.
